Stranded

I had fun placing the pirates in the shade & dappled light under the palm tree.
I played around with sharp and soft contrastst keeping the background loose, more of a painterly look.

Moon Bloom Girl

An exercise i did for a CGMA class- exposure for darks. I exaggerated the moons brightness to have that bright bloom effect. I dont usually paint more values in the dark areas thats why i had fun with this one. #Ryan Lang and #Tyson Murphy are both awesome color and light kings:D

Waitresses

Here are some waitresses i did for a character course with Stephen Silver. I had to base the women of three shapes - An apple, banana and a triangle. I thought it'd be fun to give them a German theme.

Here is the World of Warcraft Tribute piece i did.
The book will be sent out soon so i'm excited to see other artist's
creative entries. I almost went with a tiger with this one but once
i saw the cool flying serpents in w.o.w i had to go with that.

Bubble Dragon

The Large but friendly Dragon slowly emerges when the panpipes start playing.
Countless bubbles are spat out the red bubble pot plants when the music plays.
The dragon enjoys this, he hums along and pops the bubbles on his nose.

Kids - TV animation series pitch

Heres a 3 kids i designed for a TV animated pitch i did for Liquid Animation. I was aksed to come up with a different look to other tv animated kids. I gave them Big heads, big hands, slim limbs and longish necks..appealing?hmmm dunno yet. Straights vs curves is also something i tried to incorporate in their design, specially around the head area. Maybe one day these guys will be animated:)

Groovy Gal & Fluff Dog

For a change i wanted to do a graphic style pinup girl with a red-orange palette. I guess im trying to challenge myself to draw more stylised anatomy..more characters..its good practise. Definately gotta practise more on my characters and develope a style of my own eventually.

MegaMan Tribute

Well it turns out that i did make it into the Udon's Megaman tribute book after all:D I'm excited to see the finished book with all the other entries. I was also fortunate enough to have my 'making of ' this piece in the Magazine C.GArena (Vol. 6 issue2. If you want to check it out.)

The title for this one - 'After a hard day's work'. I wanted to add more ware and tare to the characters, more evidence that they just had been on a difficult mission and now they were going home. I'll prob go back and add that in the near future.
